Red Devils meeting Tuesday

The Pittston Red Devils are meeting Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Granteed’s Tavern. Please note meeting will be the first Tuesday rather than the first Monday of the month beginning with this meeting.

WA Jr. High baseball meeting

The Wyoming Area Diamond Club 7th, 8th and 9th grade parents are and coaches are meeting on Monday at 7 p.m., in the Secondary Center, room 129. All parents are asked to attend as your feedback is needed for plans for the upcoming baseball season.

WA girls’ basketball meeting banquet

Wyoming Area Lady Warriors Basketball Parents Association will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Room 133 at the high school. Continued planning for the end of the season banquet as well as the election of new officers are agenda items to be discussed. Parents of players in grades 7-12 are invited and encouraged to attend.

The Wyoming Area girls basketball banquet is Sunday, March 14 at Fox Hill Country Club in Exeter from 2-5 p.m. Banquet invitations were mailed to players earlier this week and the reservation form and payment are due by Saturday, March 6. Also in the mailing was letter regarding the raffle and the team specific theme baskets.

PA softball boosters meeting

The Pittston Area Softball Booster Club is meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Tony’s Wine Cellar, in the City Line Plaza.

Plans will be made for the upcoming softball season. Meetings are open to everyone, including coaches, parents, players, and supporters of PA softball. Please call club president Dave Dragon at 466-4695 with questions.

Meet the WA freshmen football coaches

Wyoming Area football is having a "Meet the Coaches" event for the freshmen and junior high players’ parents on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Weight Room. All parents of football players in 7, 8, and 9th grade in the fall are invited to attend. Any questions, you can call Nick P. at 693-3293.

WA softball meeting

The Wyoming Area Softball Parents are meeting Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Sabatini’s Pizza in Exeter to finalize plans for Meet the Warriors and the ziti dinner. All parents of softball players in grades 7 through 12 are asked to attend. With questions call Drew at 655-8756.

PA soccer boosters meeting

The Pittston Area soccer booster organization is meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Nominations for new officers and plans for the spring girls’ season are on the agenda. All parents are urged to attend.

Blue Devils night at Mickey D’s

The Old Forge Diamond Devils Club and Blue Devils softball team is holding Blue Devils Softball Night at McDonald’s in Old Forge on Tuesday, March 9 from 5-8 p.m. to raise funds for is annual trip to Florida.

The team and parentswill be working stations in the restaurantwith 10 percent of thegross sales going towardthe trip.Ronald McDonald will also be on hand to entertain everyone coming to this fund-raising event

PA football Night at the Races

The Pittston Area Football Booster Club’s Night at the Races is Saturday, March 13 at the Hughestown Hose Company. Admission is $5. Admission free with the purchase of a horse at $10 per horse. Admission price includes food and beverages. Adults only.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Races start at 7 p.m. Volunteers and food donations needed. Horse returns are due March 1. For Information contact Lisa Castellino at 655-2744.
