The Duryea Little League will hold a Manager/Coaches only meeting today 7 at 7 p.m. at the Duryea VFW.

WWW Little League meetings

The Wyoming/ West Wyoming Little League will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the West Wyoming Borough Hall. A second meeting for the Nite at the Races will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Lighthouse Inn. Volunteers are needed.

Hughestown Softball

The Hughestown Softball League will start sign-ups today from 4-5 p.m. The league is open to all of the surrounding towns. Girls between the ages of 8-14 are eligible. Volunteer parent coaches are needed. With questions call Don Sr, at 655-0879, or Joann 457-4568.

JT LL combined meeting tonight

The Jenkins Twp Little League will hold a combined meeting tonight of the Parents Auxiliary and the monthly league meeting at 6 p.m. at the field house meeting room. Managers will be named and practice scheduling will begin following the meeting. Anyone that is still interested in the few remaining roster spots can sign up from 5-6 p.m. All interested parents are asked to attend.

A/D LL final sign ups

The Avoca/Dupont Little League will hold final registrations on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Upper Avoca Little League field clubhouse. Registration fee is $50 per player and $60 per family except for junior and senior teener baseball which is $50 each player.

Final registration in Dupont

West Pittston LL tryouts

The West Pittston Little League will hold tryouts on the following dates at Frozen Ropes in Plains: March 12 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for major boys and from 7:30 to 9 p.m. for girls softball; March 13 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. for girls softball and 10:30 a.m. to noon for major boys; and March 14 from noon to 2 p.m. minor boys. All players trying out must attend at least one session.

Pittston Twp. LL tryouts

The Pittston Township Little League will be conducting player tryouts for the upcoming 2010 season on Saturday, March 13 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Pittston Area Middle School gymnasium (rear entrance). Little League try-outs for players ages 8-11 will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Girls softball tryouts will be from 11 a.m. to noon. Allplayers will be assigned to a respective team. Any player or prospective new player who has not signed up is asked to sign up during this time. Questions can be directed to player agent Al Zangassi at 655-0412.
