Brooke Manley, 5 years old, of Old Forge, was named Little Miss Pittston Tomato 2008 at the 25th Pittston Tomato Festival.

Maria Rose LoBrutto is 2008 Tomato Festival Queen

Maria Rose LoBrutto, 17, a Pittston Area senior and captain of the PA cheerleaders, was named 2008 Pittston Tomato Festival Queen last Saturday at the 25th Pittston Tomato Festival. She was crowned by 2007 Queen Bryn Harvey.

Times Leader Video To commemorate the 25th annual Pittston Tomato Festival, which opened Thursday in downtown Pittston and concludes tonight, a pre-party was held Saturday, August 16, on the Tomato Festival grounds. Executive Chef Biagio Dente and family, who have provided tents for the festival for all 25 years, co-sponsored the event along with the Pittston Tomato Festival Committee. Music was provided by Somethin’ Else.
