Tomato Festival Parade Saturday on Main Street

WA, PA bands, cheerleaders to march

The annual Pittston Tomato Festival Parade will be held on Saturday, August 22, beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Main Street.

The Pittston Area and Wyoming Area band members joined forces to march and play together at last year’s Pittston Tomato Festival Parade.

Due to the 5K run, which precedes the parade, the streets will be blocked at 10:30 a.m. All participants in the parade must be lined up by 10:30 a.m.

There will be no exceptions.

The parade route is approximately two miles long and will begin on Main Street in South Pittston and proceed through the downtown to Kennedy Boulevard and end on East Street, adjacent to Cooper’s Co-op building.
