Volkswagen Microbus joins the Dispatch fleet

Get yours at the Sunday Dispatch booth, No. 47

A red and white Volkswagen 1982 Microbus featuring the Sunday Dispatch logo is the latest vehicle in the Dispatch Fleet of die-cast cars to be awarded at the annual Pittston Tomato Festival. The tradition began eight years ago with the Sunday Dispatch delivery truck.

Other vehicles include a school bus, a Hummer Humvee, a Volkswagen Beetle, a PT Cruiser, a Chevy SSR, and a Mini Cooper.

The VW Microbus can be won by using a Dispatch Dollar (clip it out on page 36) for a free spin on the big wheel at the Dispatch Booth. Patrons may also spin the wheel for 50 cents which will be donated to the Care and Concern Health Clinic and Food Pantry.

For a list of other prizes at the Dispatch Booth, see page 14.
