Rotary contributes to festival

Rotary Club of the Abingtons recently presented a $500 donation to the 6th annual Clarks Summit Festival of Ice “Ice Under the Big Top.” The festival is an annual free gift to the community organized by the Abington Business and Professional Association and will take place over President’s weekend Feb.11 to 15. NEPA schools may get $23M more

The 2010 Clarks Summit Festival of Ice will be held Feb. 11 through 15. Attendees can register for prizes at all participating sculpture locations, welcome and warming centers. Prizes include:

Citizens Savings sponsors parade

The Abington Business and Professional Association Clarks Summit Festival of Ice parade is back for its second year. Welcome the “Ice Under the Big Top” to town Thursday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. The parade will travel from the Clarks Summit Elementary School to State Street and end at the Clarks Summit Borough building. Enjoy live ice carving, clowns, fire trucks, juggling and more courtesy of Parade Grand Marshal Citizens Savings Bank.
