Concerts

Strung Out, a California-based punk rock band, will perform a concert on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Eleanor Rigby’s, 603 Route 6, Racqueteers Plaza, Jermyn. Isaiah’s Corner: Fiesta Fun with Calaveras, explore Latino art and culture in this hands-on activity center. Children can build ofrendas (altars), make skeleton masks and dolls, create tissue paper flowers, learn English and Spanish vocabularies, read bilingual books, and more. Through Dec. 31 at Everhart Museum, Scranton. Everhart Reads at Anthology Books!, 6 to 8 p.m. meet and discuss and have fun with fellow readers on the third Thursday of each month. Bat Chat, dispels common myths about bats, learn why they are beneficial and which ones are found in NEPA.
