The Scranton Rescue Mission recently celebrated Family Fun Night at the Friendly’s in Dunmore. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Scranton Rescue Mission. A large crowd gathered for fun and fellowship with guest greeters and pictures. The Rescue Mission is planning its third annual Dick Gray Memorial Golf Classic. Sheila McDonough and Pastor Tyler Parry, from Dickson City Primitive Methodist Church, served as guest greeters. The Rev. Phil Schultz is executive director of the Scranton Rescue Mission. The organization helps people by intervening in a moment of crisis such as homelessness, addiction, abuse, release from prison, etc. For more information, visit www.scrantonrescuemission.org.
