OLD FORGE High ‘Decades’ celebration August 1

The second annual Old Forge High School Decades Alumni celebration will be held August 1 at the All Seasons Banquet Room in Moosic. The event is sponsored by the OFHS Classes of 1977 and 1978, and will benefit the Kiel Eigen Fund. Cost per person is $50.

Class of ’74 reunion

The Old Forge High School Class of 1974 will hold its 35th reunion on Nov 28 at St George’s Hall, Keyser Ave, Taylor. Look for “Save the Date” mailing to be mailed soon with more details. You can email the reunion committee with comments, change of address, etc. at OFHS74@hotmail.com. Relatives or friends of classmates who may have moved out of the area are asked to forward this information to class members.

Next reunion committee meeting is July 21 at 7 p.m. at Maxie’s Restaurant.

Jr. Football

The Old Forge Athletic Association is accepting registrations for any male resident, age 6-13, interesting in participating in Jr. Blue Devils football. Practice will begin in mid July with games beginning in late August.

Board to Meet

The Old Forge School District Board of Education will meet on July 15 at 7 p.m. in the LGI Room in the high school.

Jr. Devils Decals

The Old Forge Jr. Blue Devils are selling five inch by five inch vinyl car decals. Devil Helmet and Megaphone decals can be purchased for $8 each and can be personalized with the player’s number or cheerleader’s name. Decals are available in Blue Devils and Jr. Devils. Please contact Paula Rebar at 575-1441 if interested in purchasing.

The Old Forge Jr. Blue Devils are also selling Devil Helmet Yard Signs for the upcoming football season. Cost is $20.
