Holy Family Residence in Scranton is a home for the elderly poor, where, in collaboration with lay staff, volunteers, family and friends, they strive to serve the elderly with love and respect creating as family like atmosphere. We have been invited to share in this mission as we approach the Advent season and all our donations are gratefully appreciated.

The Little Sisters of the Poor are in need of the following items: tissues, lotion, body wash, Efferdent, toothpaste, mouthwash, any type of canned fruits, vegetables, soups, unsweetened cereals and coffee.

Special Fundraiser

We, as a school community, have the opportunity to assist one of our own families in need. Walter Popish, father of Cody Salerno a 7th grade student, is in need of a transplant. To assist with the medical bills, the Student Council, with the assistance of 7th grade homeroom, will conduct a Fresh made Holiday Greens Sale. This fundraiser began on Nov. 9th and will continue to November 24th. Delivery date for the Holiday Greens will take place on December 7th. Orders can be placed at the school: 654-7982.

Monies realized from this fundraiser will be placed in the Walter Popish Benefit Fund, c/o UFCW Federal Credit Union, Wyoming, PA.

We realize that there are many requests for your time and generosity. If you are unable to purchase wreaths, we ask that you pray for Cody and his family.
