Schools donate to Clarks Summit animal shelter

Area academic organizations recently collected and donated items for the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter Wish List. Second row: Tony Mendicino, Frank Jones, Tyler Conway, Warren Reed, executive director, Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, holding Babycakes, and Lisa McConlogue, choir director. At right, Nicole Dunbar, a senior at Holy Cross High School, transported donated items to the shelter recently. The drive was part of a community project that Dunbar chose as part of her graduation requirement.
