Police: man was robbed on the River Common

A man reportedly was robbed Thursday night near the River Common park in downtown Wilkes-Barre, city police said.Around 10 p.m., police were called to the scene along North River Street for reports of a man shouting that he had been robbed.According to a police report, four males held down the victim, a 50-year-old man, and searched his pockets stealing cash, a Pennsylvania drivers license and an Access food assistance card, police said.The story started aroun...
