SS. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, Olyphant, hosted the special traveling icon and relic of Blessed Josaphata Hordashevska on Sunday Nov. 9. Middle school students support veterans

Students of the Wyoming Valley West Middle School participated in a fundraiser for The Wounded Warriors Project during the week before Veterans Day. Students purchased emblems supporting the cause for a dollar each. Members of the Wyoming Seminary student government recently delivered dinner baskets to area homes for the Thanksgiving holiday. The annual project, a tradition for 47 years, began with fundraising appeals sent to students, parents, faculty and staff.
