WILKES-BARRE TWP. -- Dustin Jeffrey's breakaway goal 28 seconds into overtime Friday night lifted the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to a 3-2 victory over the Binghamton Senators.
The Senators forced overtime on a goal with 25 seconds left in regulation on a goal by Craig Schira.
Defenseman Chris Lee made a long break-out pass to spring Jeffrey for the winner.
Joe Vitale had a goal and an assist for the Penguins.

WILKES-BARRE TWP. -- The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and Binghamton Senators were locked in a scoreless tie until the final minute of the second period Friday night.
Deryk Engelland's high wrist shot from the right point made it through traffic to give the Penguins a 1-0 lead with 31.6 seconds left in the period.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton took that 1-0 lead into the third against former Penguins goalie Andy Chiodo.
Chiodo stopped the first 22 shots he faced before Engelland's goal.
Penguins goalie John Curry stopped all 17 shots in the first two periods.
Joe Vitale and Luca Caputi had assists on Engelland's goal.

WILKES-BARRE TWP. -- Andy Chiodo, one of the most beloved figures in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins history, was back at the Wachovia Arena Friday night.
Chiodo started in goal for the Binghamton Senators and made 11 saves to get through the first period in a scoreless tie.
The hero of the team's run to the 2004 Calder Cup finals stopped Luca Caputi twice in 11 seconds, once crashing the net and the next time on a breakaway to keep the game scoreless.
The Penguins outshot the Senators, 10-1, for a stretch of more than nine minutes until getting caught in a 5-on-3 penalty killing situation late in the period.
The period ended with the Penguins having an 11-9 shot advantage.
The game opened with two fights in the first four seconds.
Aaron Boogaard squared off with Binghamton's Jeremy Yablonski off the opening faceoff. Binghamton's Tim Spencer had his gloves off before play resumed and Jesse Boulerice accepted his challenge as soon as the puck was dropped.
