The Harlem Globetrotters have a new way to beat the Washington Genrals _ on ice.
The famed basketball barnstormers played on a hockey rink for the first time in their 84-year history Tuesday, putting on a show in New York's Central Park ahead of a tour of the area.

Kobe Bryant isn't sure if he'll play in this weekend's NBA All-Star game in Dallas because of his sore left ankle.
Bryant missed his second consecutive game Monday night against San Antonio, which lost to the Los Angeles Lakers 101-89.
"If I'm not able to play, I won't play. But I'm healthy, I will," he said.
Colorado Avalanche forward David Koci broke his right hand in the team's game against the St. Louis Blues on Monday night.
Koci was injured when he fought Blues forward D.J. King 2:21 into the game. He left the ice without going to the penalty box.
Avalanche coach Joe Sacco said he didn't know when Koci could return.
