LEAGUES

Back Mountain Youth Soccer will host an indoor Futsal/Soccer league from Jan. 8 through March 15 for ages U6 to U16 at the Penn State Wilkes-Barre gym. FIFA futsal ball and rules will be used. Games will be played on weekends. Intramural and travel teams are welcome. Divisions will be set to ensure fair competition. More information and signup sheets available online at www.bmysa.org. Early-payment discounts. Individual players seeking a team can sign up online as well.

MEETINGS

Hanover Area Youth Soccer League will meet 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hanover Section Fire Hall, Espy Street. Officer nominations will be held.

Kingston Huskies will hold a board meeting 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Black Diamond.

Plains Baseball will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday at the American Legion in Plains. Anyone who wants to manage/coach a team must have their letter of intent handed in at this meeting.

South Wilkes-Barre Mini Mohawks will meet at 7 p.m. Monday on the 2nd floor of the Riverside Caf�, 179 Old River Road. Officer nominations will be held. For information, call 821-0417.

Wilkes-Barre Cosmos will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Norms Pizza in Wilkes-Barre. Election of officers for the 2010 season will take place.

PHYSICALS

Nanticoke winter sports physicals, 8-11 a.m. today for both male and female athletes at the office of Dr. John Olenginski, 4 E. Main St., Nanticoke. Athletes should bring the required paperwork.

REGISTRATIONS/TRYOUTS

NEPA Club Volleyball will be hosting open tryouts for their 18 and under and 16 and under club teams Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at Crestwood High School. If there are any questions contact Justin Udzella at 760-3531.

Wilkes-Barre Heights Baseball will hold registrations today and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Stanton Lanes. All children ages 4-12 and living in the Wilkes-Barre Area School District are eligible. Cost is $20 for one child, $35 for two children and $40 for a family. Please bring a copy of birth certificate and proff of residency. Any questions call 970-7756 or 824-0538.
