Tyler Yankosky used a one-under par performance, shooting a 36, to help lead Wyoming Valley West to a 165-180 victory over Tunkhannock in golf action at Shadowbrook Golf Course on Monday.
Dave McCue, Rob Lane and Matt Evans all carded a 43 during the contest for the Spartans.
Brett Soltysiak and Luke Straley finished the day with a 43, Tyler Faux had a 46 and Bobby Giltin ended with a 48 for the Tigers.
Hazleton Area 172, Pittston Area 197
Hazleton Area’s Frank Seratch, who finished with a 40, led the charge in a 172-197 win over Pittston Area at Fox Hill Country Club.
Adding to the Cougars win was Matt Boietski (42), Brady Antolick (42), Josh Provost (45) and Jordan Pick (45).
Scoring for Pittston Area were: Allie Craig, 43, Brandon Seamon, 46, Chaz Yager, 51, and Eric Fritz, 51.
Holy Redeemer 172, MMI Prep 197
Derek Answini captured medalist honors, shooting a 40, as he led Holy Redeemer past MMI Prep.
Dave Iskra finished with a 42, Kenny Wallace carded a 44 and Connor Maloney shot a 46.
Scoring for MMI was: Eric Degenhart, 47, Morgan Long, 47, Jessica McClellan, 51, and George Palermo, 52.
Coughlin 169, Berwick 180
Ryan Keyes claimed medalist honors with a 39 as the Crusaders defeated the Bulldogs at the Wilkes-Barre Municipal Golf Course. Collin Krokos finished with a 40 and both Tyler Kurilla and Billy Mills finished with a 45.
Tyler Evans tallied a 43, Nate Laubauch had a 44, Jake Demler carded a 46 and Matt Champ finished the round with a 47 for Berwick.
