Last week: Dillon stopped eight of nine shots in the Comets’ 2-1 upset of the defending Class 2A state champion Twin Valley in the opening round of states last Tuesday. On Saturday, the senior made four saves in Crestwood’s 5-1 win over West Chester East to advance to the PIAA semifinals.
What she says: “I’ve had to keep my confidence up throughout the playoffs definitely. It’s important to trust the defensive line. If there’s no trust, things can fall apart back there. I just have to keep my head on straight and if a goal goes by, I just need to clear my mind and be able to keep playing and being able to focus on the next play instead of the previous play.”

Last week: Marshman threw for 123 yards on 6 of 8 passing in the Dawgs’ 38-6 victory over Wyoming Area in a District 2 Class 4A semifinal game last Friday. He rushed 46 yards on 14 carries.
What he says: “Our defense was really good (last) week. They really shut down their (Wyoming Area’s) run game and everything they tried to do. They opened up lanes for Lenny and opened up things deep for me and our great wide receivers.”
