Garrett Paul won the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly to help Wyoming Seminary defeat Wyoming Valley West 52-42 Tuesday in Wyoming Valley Conference boys swimming action.
Yonah Wasik (100 back) and Bobby de Luna (100 breaststroke) were also individual winners for the Blue Knights.
Valley West had two swimmers win two individual events. Maxim Kowalski was victorious in the 500 free and 200 IM. Josh Zawatski won the 50 and 100 freestyle races.
Holy Redeemer 87, Hazleton Area 81
Colton Smith and Adam Mahler were double winners for Holy Redeemer.
Smith won the 100 and 200 freestyle races. Mahler captured the 200 IM and 100 butterfly. Adam Smith won the 500 freestyle.
Dylan Gould (50 free), Anthony Goulstone (100 back) and Paul Flowers (100 breaststroke) were individual winners for Hazleton Area.
Wyoming Seminary 69, Wyo. Valley West 24
Madi Federici won the 50 and 500 freestyle events to pace Wyoming Seminary.
Also posting wins for Seminary were Jess Kishbaugh (200 free), Paige Jackett (200 IM), Kylee Kolbicka (100 fly), Aviah Dahlgren (100 free), Skylar Roerig (100 back) and Tara Kupsky (100 breaststroke).
Pittston Area 106, Berwick 64
Kiersten Grieco won the 50 and 100 freestyle races to lead Pittston Area.
Kaitlyn Connors (200 free), Juliet Lawler (100 back) and Olivia Norwillo (100 breaststroke) also swam to first-place finishes for the Patriots.
Sydney Lloyd (100 fly) and Courtney Turowski (500 free) won events for Berwick.
Holy Redeemer 104, Hazleton Area 79
Emily Mahler (200 free, 500 free) and Margaret Walting (50 free, 100 breaststroke) were double winner for Holy Redeemer.
Bailey Flannery added a win in the diving competition and Kayla Kruk won the 100 freestyle for the Royals.
Hayley Sanko won the 200 IM and 100 butterfly for Hazleton Area. Marina O’Hara won the 100 backstroke.
