BATON ROUGE, La. — LSU running back Charles Scott won’t make it back from a broken collarbone in time to play Penn State in the Capital One Bowl on New Year’s Day.
“Charles Scott cannot play in the game,” LSU head coach Les Miles said after the Tigers’ final on-campus practice. “If anybody fought like heck to do it, it’s Charles Scott. It’s smart and wise for him to continue rehabilitation and go on to the NFL.”
WEST PITTSTON – After a long day of work and football practice, Rich Musinski got a call on Monday.
For four years, Rich Ingold was one of the most notable figures of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers team.
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers will not field a team for the 2010 season and negotiations to sell the team have fallen through, the team said in a note posted Monday on its Web site.
The Oct. 9 deadline for owners to declare for the Arena Football 1 league came and went.
