Nicholas Reach shot 1-under-par, 71 Wednesday at Elmhurst Country Club to lead a group of 50 Lackawanna League players who qualified for the October 5 District 2 Tournament at the same course.
A total of 130 players from 24 schools tried to gain spots.
Reach led a team of six Scranton Prep players to qualify. Dunmore and Montrose also had their entire teams advance.
Scranton Prep took the top two spots and four of the top five while placing its entire team in the top 22.
Peter Nelson of the Cavaliers was second with a 72.
Chaz Hudacek and Dave Pompey tied Montrose's Cole Wheaton for third with 74s.
Lakeland freshman Mike Thomas was sixth with a 75.
Dave Boslough of Lackawanna Trail joined Alex Howe of Western Wayne at 76.
Three Abington Heights players were in the group of seven that tied for ninth with 77s. Brian Mahlstedt, Sasha Nelson and Connor Coldwater were joined by Dunmore's Mike Perry, Scranton Prep's Kyle Williams, Montrose's Peter Maxey and Delaware Valley's Cody Cox.
