Annual gala and silent auction planned for April

Family Service Association of Northeastern Pennsylvania (FSA) recently announced that Carmela Yanora, treasurer of the FSA board of directors, will chair the 11th annual Spring Gala and silent auction. Co-chair is Pauline Carmody, West Pittston, who has served as chair of the Gala Marketing Committee for the past two years. The theme for this year's event is ‘Broadening Our Vision As Together We Reach and Grow Beyond the Valley.' The gala will be held at 6 p.m. on April 13 at the Westmoreland Club, South Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre. Festivities will begin with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres and be followed by a sit-down dinner. Music will be provided by Groove Train. A silent auction will also be a part of the activities.
