Authors read excerpts, discuss book

Authors Diane Lang and Michael Buchanan recently visited with students from Children's Service Center's Partial Hospitalization Program to discuss their book, ‘The Fat Boy Chronicles.' The book, about an obese teen who deals with bullying and trying to lose weight, was made into a movie in 2010. Buchanan read excerpts from the book and asked students to talk about which parts of the book they found most memorable. At the event, from left, are Lang; Melanee Velikus, teacher, CSC; and Buchanan.
