HANOVER TWP. – Jake Barber's bucket in overtime lifted Hanover Area to a 56-54 win, thwarting a furious Coughlin comeback in regulation.

Hanover Area held a slim advantage after each of the first three quarters and entered the fourth with a 36-30 lead. But Mike Oliver scored seven of his team-high 21 points and Connor Flaherty cut loose with half of his 20 points over the final eight minutes, rallying the Crusaders into overtime.

But Barber, who finished with a game-high 26 points, hit a basket for the only points of overtime to lift Hanover Area to a dramatic home victory. Ismael Moreno added 11 points for the Hawkeyes, including six in a second quarter that sent Hanover Area into halftime with a 22-20 lead.
