William Billy Barnes and Allison Smith, along with their families, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Allison is the daughter of David Smith, Conewago Township, and Melinda Smith, New Freedom. She is the granddaughter of Marie Smith and the late Carroll Pete Smith, McSherrystown, and Frederick Kuethe Jr. and Beverly Kuethe, Glen Burnie, Md.

Billy is the son of Larry and Barbara Barnes, Dallas. He is the grandson of Marjorie Barnes Mottern, Dallas; the late Sterling Barnes, Lehman; and Wahneta Berti and the late William Billy Berti, Dallas.

Allison is a 2008 graduate of New Oxford High School and a 2012 graduate of Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science degree in education for social studies education. She is employed with Evergreen Behavioral Intervention for Children, Luzerne.

Billy is a 2007 graduate of Dallas High School and a 2011 graduate of Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science degree in education for social studies education. He is employed as the middle school social studies teacher at Bear Creek Charter School.

The couple will exchange vows in front of family and friends at the Dallas United Methodist Church on June 14, 2014.
