Blockus, Sudal

Nicole Sudal and Matt Blockus, together with their families, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Michael and Janis Sudal, Shavertown. She is the granddaughter of Vivienne Sudal, Wilkes-Barre; the late Michael Sudal; and the late Molly and Samuel June, Larksville.

The prospective groom is the son of Thomas and Deborah Blockus, Shavertown. He is the grandson of Marion and William Coolbaugh, Parsons; Richard and Gladys Searfoss, Dallas; and the late Lauralda and Bernard Blockus, Pittston.

Nicole is a 2003 graduate of Lake-Lehman High School and earned a bachelor's degree in social work from Temple University. She is employed by Victims Resource Center, Wilkes-Barre.

Matt is a 2004 graduate of Dallas High School. He is a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 542, Wilkes-Barre.

The couple will exchange vows on Oct. 26, 2013, in Holy Family Parrish, Luzerne.
