WILKES-BARRE – Hanover Area outscored Coughlin by a 15-point margin in the third quarter to pull away for a 58-33 victory on Wednesday in high school girls basketball.


The Hawkeyes were led by Haylee Bobos' 22 points. Samantha Masher pulled down 10 rebounds for the Hawkeyes.


Coughlin's Marissa Ross produced 12 points in a losing effort.

Brittany Sugalski led four Trojans in double digits with 14 points as Nanticoke won going away against Northwest.
