Bowl-a-thon to benefit Epilepsy Foundation

A bowl-a-thon in support of National Epilepsy Awareness Month in November will be sponsored by volunteers of the local Epilepsy Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania support groups from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday at Chacko's Family Bowling Center, 195 N. Wilkes-Barre Blvd., Wilkes-Barre. The event, Help Strike Out Epilepsy, will support educational programs, support services and materials for people with epilepsy and their families in Luzerne, Lackawanna, Wayne, Wyoming, Susquehanna and Pike counties. Cost is $15 per bowler and includes shoes, refreshments and prizes. For more information, to pre-register a team of bowlers or to make a donation, contact 592-1150.
