Wilkes University will hold a Colonels Elite Baseball Prospect Program Nov. 18, Dec. 16, Feb. 23 and May 12 from 6-7:15 p.m. at the Marts Center for students with graduating years from 2013-2016. Wilkes University Women's Lacrosse will hold a lacrosse clinic for girls ages 3-18 on Saturday, Jan. 19. Community Winter Sunday Basketball League for school teams will begin play on Sunday, Dec 2. There are two divisions, one for grade 5-6 boys and one for grade 5-6 girls. Willie Obremski Youth Basketball League will hold drafts starting Nov. 16 for ages 5-18 at the Kingston Recreational Center. Players can register any time when the building is open. The draft for ages 5-7 will be held Nov. 16 at 5:30 p.m. The draft for ages 8-10 will be held Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. The draft for ages 11-13 will be held Nov. 19 at 5:30 p.m. The draft for ages 14-18 will be held Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m. Practice begins Nov. 27 at 5:30 p.m., and the league starts Dec. 10 at 5:30 p.m. Parents are asked to attend the drafts.

Crestwood Boys Basketball Booster Club will hold its next meeting at 7 p.m. today at Cavanaugh's Grille. The topics of discussion will be the Winter Social, Meet the Players Night and an update on the 7th and 8th grade teams.

Catholic Youth Center's Winter Basketball Leagues will begin practicing the week of Nov. 26 with the first game on Dec. 8. Dallas Soccer Booster Club invites all alumni soccer players for the annual alumni game Nov. 24 at Cleary Field in Dallas against the 2012 soccer team. The game starts at 11 a.m. No RSVP needed. Refreshments will be served.

Mountaintop Area Hockey League will play is Tuesday series of street hockey-roller hockey games beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the Wright Township Municipal Park Rink. Age 12 (Cub Division) will play at 4:30 p.m., ages 13-17 (Teen Division) will play after the Cub Division and the Young Adult Division (17-older) will play a special exhibition game after the Teen Division. Games are open to the public.

Northwest Area Boys and Girls Basketball Teams will be sponsoring the Third Annual Blue-White Night on Saturday, Nov. 24. The basketball games will start at 5 p.m. with the Biddy and junior high games, girls and boys varsity games at 6 p.m., and men's and women's alumni games at 7:30 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the boys and girls basketball teams.

Wyoming Valley CYC Aquatics Department welcomes 2012 Olympic Gold medalist Matt Grevers and USA Swimming National Team member Annie Chandler on Nov. 17 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a swim clinic for ages 8-18. This event is a fundraiser for the CYC Aquatics Center. All participants will receive instruction and pool time with Grevers and Chandler, photos, autographs, and more.
