Electric City Baseball & Softball Academy will hold its Annual MLB Scouts Winter Hitting League for boys and girls of all ages with the following instructors: Bobby Felmy (Giants), Matt Hyde (Yankees), Greg Legg (Phillies), Wayne Lydon (Blue Jays), Sean Moran (Cardinals) and Eric Valent (Phillies). King's College will host two sessions of the Stars of Tomorrow prospect baseball camp on Sunday, Jan. 13. Both camps will be held from noon to 4 p.m. each day. The camp is for players in grades 7-12, who have the interest and desire to play collegiate and/or professional baseball. Players will also be exposed to the college recruiting process. Penn State Wilkes-Barre is currently accepting applications for the position of Head Men's Soccer Coach. This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics. The qualified person will plan and direct team during all practices and games; recruit academically and athletically qualified student-athletes; emphasize academic success to student-athletes; supervise assistant coaches; and promote the soccer program. Evening and weekend hours will be required for practices and games. This is a part-time, fixed-term 2 position. Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of successful coaching and/or playing experience is required. Applicant must be at least 25 years old and capable of driving a 15 passenger van.
