Sr. Catherine McGroarty, RSM has been named the new director. A 30-day residence for homeless women and their children, the McAuley House is part of the Catherine McAuley Center that serves the homeless in Lackawanna and Luzerne Counties. Sr. Catherine holds a master's degree in nursing administration from Boston University and a master's in health services administration from the University of Michigan.
Terry Tokach, MS.CCC-SLP, has joined the staff as a part-time speech therapist and
Melinda Galli, MS, ORT/L, as a full-time occupational therapist. Tokach received a BS in communication disorders and a MS in speech/language pathology. She also has her ASHA certificate of clinical competence in SLP. Galli obtained her BS in health science and her MS in occupational therapy from Misericordia University and also holds a certificate in geriatrics.
