Charity basketball game to benefit Miracle Network

The Solomon/Plains Educational Complex, 43 Abbott St., Plains Township, is holding its 13th annual charity basketball game to benefit the Geisinger Children's Miracle Network and the Janet Weis Children's Hospital at 6 p.m. on March 1. The event will feature Solomon/Plains, Coughlin, Meyers and GAR high schools in a tournament and the First District Champion will be crowned. The main event will feature All Stars from all schools playing WBRE/WYOU All Stars led by Phil Schoener. All proceeds benefit the Geisinger Children's Hospital. Tickets are available in advance at each school or at the door the night of the event. Cost is $3 for adults and $2 for students. All tickets are $3 the night of the event.
