WILKES-BARRE – Wilkes University suffered its first loss of the season Sunday, dropping a 109-102 decision to Lycoming College in men's basketball.
Chris Shovlin lead the Colonels with 38 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and four steals. Tyler Breznitsky chipped in 15 points, while Bernard Edmonds had 13.
The Warriors had a balanced attack as seven different players scored double figures.
With the loss, the Colonels fall to 2-1 while the Warriors improve to 3-1. The Colonels return to action Wednesday as they travel to Misericordia for an 8 p.m. game in their Freedom Conference opener.
