DALLAS – Crestwood broke open a tight game with a 23-9 run in the third quarter to defeat Dallas 64-46 in Wyoming Valley Conference Division I boys basketball Thursday night.
Brady Gallagher's 17 points paced the Comets (1-0, 6-3), while Steve Roberts added 13 and Chris Fazzini scored 11.
Dallas' Matt Ross drained six three-pointers for a game-high 18 points.

Hazleton Area scored as many points in the second quarter (20) as Tunkhannock did the entire first half in a win at home.
Sal Biasi led the Cougars (1-0 Div. I, 5-3) with a game-high 28 points, while Brett Barron connected on five jumpers from three-point range on his way to 19 points. Kurtis Wright chipped in 11.
Sean Soltysiak led the Tigers (0-1, 1-7) with 22 points.
