Cori's Place, Hanover Township, recently received the Thomas E. Pugh Award for Compassion at the 2012 That All May Worship Conference at Allied Services Heinz Rehab Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. Founded by the Gwilliam family in 2002, Cori's Place is a nonprofit educational center for people with disabilities. This year's conference was entitled ‘Progressive Disabilities: Keeping Pace When Things Get Worse.'
