The office of Luzerne County District Attorney recently donated funds to help purchase new bulletproof vests for local police officers. Recipients were Officer Michael O‚??Boyle, Luzerne County Sheriff‚??s Department, and Officer Dave McDermott, Forty Fort Police Department. The donations were made possible from drug forfeiture funds and were donated to the Adopt-A-Cop Program created by the founders of Fallen Officers Remembered to help purchase this life-saving equipment. Kranson Uniform was also instrumental with the purchase and fitting of the vests.
