The Dallas Lions Club recently hosted District Governor Dennis Cook, District 14 W, at a dinner meeting held at the Metro Bar and Grill, Dallas. Cook spoke to the club and congratulated members on the many projects undertaken during the past year, especially the Hometown Heroes project, which had banners of service men and women, past and present, hanging throughout the town from Memorial Day to Veterans Day. Club President Joseph Czarnecki presented Cook with a check for the Governor's District Charities in the amount of $780. At the check presentation, from left, are Cook and Czarnecki.
