Cassandra Knorek and Matthew William Davis, together with their families, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Carl and Margaret Knorek, Mountain Top. She is the granddaughter of Carl and Bernadine Knorek, Nanticoke, and Halina Bilicka, Poland.
The prospective groom is the son of Robert and Melanie Davis, Wapwallopen. He is the grandson of the late William and Charlotte Davis, Wapwallopen, and the late George and Stella Belleba, Michigan.
Cassandra is a 2006 graduate of Crestwood High School and a 2009 graduate of Bloomsburg University, where she received her bachelor's degree in early childhood and elementary education. She is currently pursuing her master's degree at King's College in reading and ESL. She is employed by Children's Service Center.
Matthew is a 2006 graduate of Crestwood High School and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in biology from Misericordia University. He is employed by Bayada Home Health Care.
The couple will be happily united in marriage on June 15, 2013, at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish in Dorrance, with a reception to follow at Carmen's Country Inn, Drums.
