Wyoming Valley Dog Squad Troop 221, Dog Scouts of America, participated in Barnes and Noble's gift wrap program on Dec. 16. The non-profit troop collected donations to aid in the promotion of future community fundraisers. The troop's current fundraiser is to provide Luzerne County fire departments and medic units with pet oxygen mask kits. At the event, from left: Karen Barbose; Mary Perrego, assistant troop leader; Phyllis Sinavage, troop leader; and Liza Roper, secretary and treasurer, and dogs, Pasha and Kirby.
