Hal Kwalwasser presented an overview of his book, ‘Renewal: Remaking America's Schools for the Twenty-First Century,' on Sept. 18 as a part of the Drs. Robert S. and Judith A. Gardner Educational Forum Series at Wilkes University. Kwalwasser, who was one of Judge Max Rosenn's law clerks, has been a lawyer, political consultant, a staffer in the U.S. and California senates and general counsel of the Los Angeles Unified School District.
