(AP) A 19-year-old woman is charged with kidnapping a newborn from a Pittsburgh hospital and was arrested after authorities say a family member called police because they believed she lied about her pregnancy.
Investigators say Breona Moore bought a set of scrubs under a fake name Thursday morning. The baby's family says Moore claimed to be a nurse taking him for a final check-up before discharge later in the day.
Pittsburgh police Commander Thomas Stangrecki says the family member contacted investigators after seeing news coverage of the kidnapping of a 3-day-old baby from Magee-Womens Hospital on Thursday.
Police say the baby was found with Moore, of McKeesport, around 6 p.m. at a downtown office building and reunited with his parents.
Court records don't list an attorney for Moore.
Hospital officials say they're reviewing security procedures.
