Brothers from George M. Dallas Lodge 531, Dallas, participated in the wedding ceremony of Brother James Byers on Sept. 2 at Firwood United Methodist Church, Wilkes-Barre. Brothers Christopher Matus, Jonathan Sinclair, David Evans Jr. and Robert McGuire Jr. served as ushers and opened the ceremony by leading the wedding party to the altar. After the ceremony, the Brothers formed a sword arch for the groom and bride. The incorporation of Freemasons in weddings is rarely done and required the approval of District Deputy Grand Master Barry Littleford, District 12. At the wedding, from left, are Matus; Sinclair; Byers; Tracy Chmielewski, bride; Evans; and McGuire.
