The Luzerne County Bar Association Charitable Foundation, a nonprofit corporation created by the lawyers of the Wilkes-Barre Law & Library Association, recently made a donation to Wyoming Valley Habitat for Humanity (WVHFH). Habitat relies on contributions from the community to fund the houses it builds. Volunteers are always needed. For more information call 820-8002 or email information [email protected]. At the check presentation, from left: Karen Evans Kaufer, executive director, WVHFH; Joseph P.J. Burke III, treasurer, Bar Foundation; attorney Kelly Ann Bray, board member, WVHFH; and attorney David J. Harris, board member, WVHFH.
