Hazleton Area

7 p.m. today

The Coaches: Hazleton Area's Jim Drumheller (4-9, 2nd year); Williamsport's Kevin Choate (0-3, 1st year)

Last Meeting: Hazleton Area 32-21 in 2011

All-Time Series: Williamsport leads 19-16-1

Quick Fact: Hazleton Area has won 10 of last 12 meetings, including a 2009 playoff win.

Scouting Hazleton Area: The Cougars ran into another buzzsaw last Friday, losing 49-12 to Delaware Valley. DelVal led 42-0 early in the third quarter. The Cougars' three opponents this season are a combined 9-0.

The rushing game is coming off its best outing, with Nick George getting 88 yards and Zach Zukoski adding 67. But the pass offense hasn't tossed for more than 69 in a game.

The defense has had its share of troubles stopping the run and pass thus far.

Scouting Williamsport: The Millionaires suffered their second quick knockout last week, losing 42-7 to Abington Heights. They have allowed 40, 41 and 42 points in their last three games. That trend should stop since Hazleton Area doesn't have similar firepower of the last three opponents.

RB Devin Miller is on pace for a 1,300-yard season and should be able to run well tonight. WR Sadiq Burkholder was expected to be a big weapon, but has just three catches for 6 yards.

What To Expect: Williamsport will have the best player on the field in Miller and that will prove to be the difference.
