The top academic students in five area high schools were honored at the 38th annual Academic Achievement Banquet coordinated by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce at Capriotti's in McAdoo. The program recognized the scholastic achievements of students from Hazleton Area, Immanuel Christian School, Marian Catholic High School, MMI Preparatory School and Weatherly Area High School.
