Mystic Power Yoga, West Hazleton, collaborated with the Silent Santa organization in Hazleton to ensure that children in need had presents to open on Christmas. The yoga studio had the names of 27 children and their wish lists on tags decorating a tree inside the practice room. Community members picked tags from the tree and sponsored the children. Mystic Power Yoga also collected wrapped coins to give as monetary donations. The gifts and coins were collected on Dec. 16 by Marilyn Kotansky and taken to the volunteer center for Silent Santa to be inventoried, wrapped and delivered. Participants, from left, first row, are Joanne Enama, David Hutchison, Gloria Brooks, Maureen Brown, Melissa Ritz, Marilyn Kotansky, Michele Fisher, Emily Finer, Gary Steibler and Bill Fisher. Second row: Sharon Cox, Leann Baskin, Cindy Layton, Jean Plesh, Valerie Flaim, Teresa Hutchison, Jennifer Sloot, Lex Sloot, Nadine Veet, Sarah Yanoski, Toni Englehart and Ray Enama.
