The Home Health Division of Allied Services Integrated Health System has recently been named to the 2012 HomeCare Elite List for the fifth consecutive year. Only 15 percent of the 487 home health agencies in Pennsylvania were named to this compilation of the top-performing home health agencies in the United States. The list of HomeCare Elite agencies is ranked by an analysis of performance measures in quality outcomes, process measure implementation and financial performance. Agencies that have earned recognition among the HomeCare Elite demonstrated that they not only can adapt to an evolving marketplace but continue to excel in both clinical and financial outcomes. Allied Services Home Health division serves Lackawanna, Luzerne, Wayne, and Wyoming counties, as well as Pike, Monroe and Susquehanna counties on a limited basis. Patients typically receive a combination of nursing care, physical, occupational, and speech therapy, medical social work, and home health aide visits to address their health care needs.
Viewmont Health Associates, Scranton, a multispecialty medical group owned by PrimeMed, P.C., recently won an award for a marketing program that launched its new brand to the community. In a national competition, sponsored by the Healthcare Marketing Report, the rebranding effort was honored with a Gold Healthcare Advertising Award. The Gold award places Viewmont's brand identity package in the top six percent of more than 4,000 entries from across the U.S. that were reviewed by a national panel of judges who assessed creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.
