Another strong performance has the Holy Redeemer golf team back on the state stage.

The Royals advanced by knocking off Danville 318-340 on Friday in the Class 2A regionals at Fox Hill Country Club.

Chase Makowski and Mariano Medico led the way, finishing with a 76 and 79, respectively to top the team. Also scoring for the Royals were Matt Slavoski (80) and Mike Boland (83).

Danville's Austin Renz took medalist honors with a 3-over 74, but the Royals' depth won the day.

Up next for Redeemer is an Oct. 24 trip to Heritage Hills in York for a shot at the Class 2A state title.
