PLAINS TWP.: The Employment Coalition, in conjunction with the Luzerne-Wyoming Counties Mental Health and Developmental Services (MH & DS), is sponsoring a free interactive training session for the community, local businesses, employment specialists, parents, families and caregivers on keeping Social Security Administration benefits and obtaining employment.

The session will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Feb. 7 at Step-by-Step, Inc., 350 Second Street. Presenters will be John Miller, vice president, AHEDD, who oversees community employment services for more than 2,000 individuals with disabilities throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware, and Debra Sinkovich, employment specialist and community work incentive coordinator, AHEDD, who assists individuals with disabilities to obtain employment.
