PIKES CREEK: WRGN's Good News Library will host a special Valentine's story and craft time at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 8 at the Christian radio station located on State Route 118 near Pikes Creek.


Celebrate God's Love will be the theme for this activity for children ages 3-8 and will include a story time, craft activity and a snack time. The event is free, however, reservations are required and a parent or guardian must accompany the child. Space is limited; call (800) 245-3688 or visit www.wrgn.com by Feb. 6.


SUGAR NOTCH: Holy Family Parish, 828 Main St., has placed a St. Pauly clothing drop-off shed at the back edge of the parking lot. Donations of usable clothing are being accepted and include shoes, purses, blankets, linens, sneakers, belts, curtains and stuffed animals. Items will go to those in need locally, nationally and internationally.


TRUCKSVILLE: Cross Creek Community Church, 370 Carverton Road, will begin a church-wide campaign titled, What On Earth Am I Here For, written by Rick Warren, author of The Purpose Driven Life.


The campaign will begin on Feb. 3 during both Sunday services at 9 and 10:45 a.m. The six-week campaign will continue each Sunday morning and include more than 40 Life Groups that will be meeting at various locations and times throughout the week.
